Matteo began his professional career in the financial sector at leading banking institutions, where he developed expertise in liquidity management, market operations and compliance, gaining an in-depth understanding of the operational dynamics of major financial organisations.

Matteo graduated with distinction with a Master’s degree in Economics of Financial Markets and Intermediaries from Università Cattolica. His curriculum included key subjects for asset management, such as portfolio management, financial risk management and derivatives. His dissertation focused on the application of IAS in the financial statements of Italian banks, exploring topics relevant to financial analysis and planning.
