A senior executive with over 25 years’ international experience in venture capital, private equity and technology in a variety of roles of increased responsibilities.

Alberto was Managing Director at 2049 Long Term Capital Partners, Head of Illiquid Investments Advisory at Banca Esperia (Mediobanca Private Banking) and Head of Venture Capital at Finlombarda Gestioni SGR.

He also worked at Cofiri, Kearney, KPMG, and LogicaCMG. He has served as a Venture Capital platform member at Invest Europe (European Private Capital Association) and as deputy chairman of the Venture Capital committee of AIFI (Italian Private Capital Association).

Alberto has also held board positions for several technology companies and advisory board positions for a number of venture capital funds. He was also a member of the spin-offs committee of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Alberto is currently a member of the mentoring & coaching network of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health and an advisor of King’s Alumni Angel Network & Capital.

Alberto holds a PhD in Biophysics from King’s College London and a Physics Degree from University of Pavia, Italy.

Alberto is registered in the Italian Register of Financial Advisors (Albo Unico dei Consulenti Finanziari) in the section dedicated to Independent Financial Advisors (Consulenti Finanziari Autonomi – CFA) (Resolution No. 2376 of 18/12/2023 of Organismo di vigilanza e tenuta dell’Albo Unico dei Consulenti Finanziari).
